My name is Vanessa
before I tell you my story, I give you a little information about my name.
My name was invented by an Irish writer and is all about creativity. That's how I would describe myself, a creative person with a passion for singing, acting, writing, make-up and crafting...
A girl with a lot of fantasy chasing her dreams. Not only chasing them but make them a reality,
because if you can dream it, you can do it! It is written on the wall in my bedroom.

My dreams I have a few...
Singer:
As Soon as I was able to speak, I was singing every song on the radio at the back of my parents car. Even when I was almost falling a sleep, I mumbled the words of the lyrics. So at the age of 16 my father took me to a private coach (Wilfried Van Beveren), who worked with a lot of Belgian Artists like Koen Wauters, Niels destadsbader, Brahim, Noémie from Hoover Phonic ...
4 years later I stopped these courses because I needed to focus on getting my bachelor degree in communication and coaching. After my studies I started working in Human Resources for the Belgian railways and started a family. My dreams were put on hold.
In 2025 I created a character for the whisky brand of my husband and it became popular so I decided to make it my new artist name.

Actress

As a kid I wrote my own stories and used them in my English course as role play to practice the English language. My teachers always told me I should have taken acting courses because they found me very passionate and driven. I took their advice 12 years later. In 2022 right after the Corona pandemic I started my 2 year during acting courses at ACT in Lint. Thanks to the school I got so many opportunities to follow workshops and meet wonderful people in the acting business. My journey started and I even booked some parts in a webserie and a tv-show. As did I do some short films. So my journey has begun and I am not planning to end it.
My strenght:
As an actress it is important you do not judge your character and you can place yourself in their shoe's. Because I am open-minded and emphatic it is easy for me to feel the emotions of my character and make it come to live on the screen
Coach
During my work in HR it became clear to me, that I loved helping people with finding a solution for their problems and motivating them to achieve their dreams. I gave a lot of presentations at schools and helped teenagers to think about what it was they want in life and how to achieve that. I caught myself helping friends and family with taking big life decisions by listening to their problems and asking them questions so they could find their own best solution to their problems. When I started my acting course at ACT it became clear to me that coaching and acting could go hand in hand. As I saw my own acting-coach teaching students and combining it with acting. After one year I became a confident for the students and became an assistant of my coach. My heart lies with the students and the school. So I hope one day to become an inspiration to other people as my coach became an inspiration for me.
